These Terms of Service govern your engagement with Planet Construction and our affiliated specialized divisions:

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using our website, submitting an estimate request, scheduling an on-site structural evaluation, or executing a written proposal, you agree to comply with and be legally bound by these Terms of Service.

3. Scope of Services

Planet Construction delivers licensed general contracting and specialized restoration across seven core trade disciplines:

• Concrete Restoration & Structural Repair: Spall repair, rebar rust mitigation, post-tension cable splicing, beam/column reinforcement, catwalk restoration, and 40/50-year building milestone recertification repairs.
• Waterproofing & Coating Systems: Pedestrian and vehicular traffic deck coatings, subterranean wall membranes, balcony cove flashing, planter box liners, and expansion joint sealing.
• Impact Windows & Doors: Hurricane-rated commercial storefronts, high-rise condo glass retrofits, French doors, sliders, and storm shutters.
• Commercial Construction: Retail build-outs, medical clinics, corporate tenant buildouts, and ADA handicap access compliance.
• Exterior Building Envelope Restoration: Commercial stucco remediation, high-build elastomeric coatings, EIFS repairs, and facade painting.
• Roofing Systems: Tile, shingle, standing seam metal, and commercial TPO flat roofing through our dedicated Roofing Network division.
• Residential Construction: Luxury home additions, concrete block expansions, and interior structural renovations.

4. Estimates, Contracts & Change Orders

• Estimates: Preliminary visual inspections and estimates are provided at no charge. Complex structural investigations requiring destructive testing or forensic engineering reports may involve separate engineering fees detailed in advance.
• Written Contracts: All construction engagements require an executed written contract detailing explicit trade scopes, project milestones, schedule targets, and payment stages.
• Scope Changes: In accordance with Florida construction standards, any latent defects discovered during demolition (e.g. hidden rebar degradation or concealed framing rot) will be documented with photos and priced via a formal written Change Order approved prior to execution.

5. Licensing, Permitting & Insurance

All work is executed under active Florida state contractor licenses held by master qualifying contractor Genti Kraja (CGC1517295, CCC1329271, CVC57244). We maintain full Commercial General Liability insurance ($2,000,000 aggregate) and complete statutory Workers' Compensation coverage on every jobsite.

6. Payment Terms & Florida Lien Law

Payment terms are outlined in each formal contract, structured around measurable inspection milestones (e.g., permit issuance, structural rough inspection, dry-in, and final building department sign-off). Work is subject to Florida Construction Lien Law (Chapter 713, Florida Statutes).

7. Warranties

• Workmanship Warranty: Planet Construction warrants structural workmanship and installation craft against defects for a minimum period of one (1) full year following certificate of completion, or as explicitly extended in your contract.
• Manufacturer Warranties: Impact window frames, glass units, waterproofing membranes, elastomeric coatings, and roofing materials carry direct manufacturer warranties (often 10 to 30 years).

8. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law

These terms and all contracting agreements are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any legal action or dispute arising from projects in Broward, Miami-Dade, or Palm Beach Counties shall be submitted to mediation in Broward County, Florida prior to formal legal proceedings.
